Miss C's 3 month - Woodlands TX child photography

You might recognize Miss C from her newborn shoot 3 months ago. And her siblings from their maternity shoot from awhile back. They all came to the studio for a photoshoot for Miss C's 3 month birthday. Her brother and sister's birthday is also very close, so we did some photos of them as well. We had a great time and got some great photos. Here are some of my favorites.

 

Miss S at 3 months! - Woodlands TX child photographer

You last saw Miss S on the blog for her newborn sneak peak. My has she blossomed! We had so much fun today trying on all of the hats and headbands. Being girly! She definitely doesn't fit in her dad's hand anymore. Hope you guys enjoy the sneak peak.

October Workshops for 10,000 photographs

For those of you that are waiting for a schedule for the 10,000 photographs workshops, you will have to wait a little bit longer...

I'm working on that and it will be out around the first of the year.

But in the mean time. We have 2 October meet ups for you!

Oct 16th, Scream on the Green at the Woodlands UMC. Come join us! It is an all night affair, with campouts and such. Come for dinner, pumpkin carving, 3D movie, camping, breakfast, etc. They have all kinds of things for families. Looks like tons of fun! Starts at 5pm. Introduction to Photography Webinar

Ok, in case you missed it!

As promised, here is the date and information for the Webinar. This is a repeat of the Introduction that was given last Friday at my house. It was very widely received. I'm hoping to record this as well, so we will see if I'm technically capable of doing that.

My Sweet Twins 3 months - Woodlands TX Newborn Photographer

If you have been following my photography for awhile, you have seen the twins. They are my only set of multiples so far, so when I say my twins, they aren't really mine, they are one of my clients. I was so excited to see them again for their three month session. And man have they grown! These little chunky monkeys are so cute, I could just eat them up!

They had their Halloween outfits all ready for me and we did some mommy and me shots too. Even though we had some cranky moments, they did really well. I hope their parents can find some shots they like. Enjoy you guys. I will see you in November!

Mr. JH 2 weeks - Woodlands TX Newborn Photographer

If you watch Yahoo, you probably saw the article about the photographer that shoots sleeping babies. Well, most of us newborn photographers prefer our newborns to be sleeping. So when Mr. JH arrived zonked out, I was so excited! 

He did a fantastic job. Slept for the first half of the shoot and the flirted the second half. What a joy. His mom and dad are going to have a really hard time choosing from the proofs for birth announcement photos. 

I had a fantastic time guys, can't wait to see you again.

Miss E - 6 weeks Sneak Peak - Woodlands Tx Newborn Photographer

A fellow photographer friend came by and brought her beautiful baby girl. She was 6 weeks old and was definitely used to having her photo taken. She played to the camera for as long as she could take. I thoroughly enjoyed having them come by for the company and the tips. I hope they can find a few unique and original photos that they can enjoy. Hope to see you guys again.

Caden - Big Man On Campus, 8 months

Well, it is official. Caden turned 8 months today. I tear up when I think about it. My gosh, it seems like yesterday when I think back to holding that little bundle. He barley moved and I had to wake him up to eat. Now he never sits still and won't stop eating.

Some new occurrences with Caden:

• 2 new teeth
• he found his right thumb, for sucking (great, not thrilled with that)
• he is riding in his big boy car seat
• crawls, stands up, pulls up and jumps around constantly
• very, very close to walking
• sings, talks and screams at the most importune times
• loves to eat, especially sweet potatoes and cheerios

Favorite past time - baths and throwing things!

“ Your first 10,000 photographs are your worst. – Henri Cartier-BressonEven though I have been taking pictures since I was 13, I can honestly say that everyday, I get better.

A lot of times I feel bad, when I look back at portraits I took at the beginning of the year, because they just weren’t good. We grow, because we practice. This is why I have named my photography workshops 10,000 photographs.

A lot of my clients have high end cameras but don’t have the time to sit down and understand how to use them. So since I have two degrees in education, I thought that I would offer a photography introduction class for my clients and see how it goes. If you guys are interested, we will expand and hold more sessions and types.

The beginner’s class is called Show and Tell – You Show me Yours and I’ll Show You Mine. The September 18th class is an introduction of photography and photographic design. The agenda is below. Bring your camera and we can all swap stories.

All of this will be done in a fun and very casual atmosphere. So bring your cameras, bring some friends and let’s have some fun! This introduction is open to everyone, we will preview all of the future workshops in this introduction, so come and hang out with us. There is no limit.

If we have a good response to this and a good turn out. I will book some more of these and we will do more topics like the following. We will hold each workshops registration down to 10 people, so that each restraint can get personal attention. Maternity Sneaky - Woodlands TX Maternity Photographer

We have another hot mamma on our hands. This mamma came in with Miss L on Saturday morning. We had a great time. There were Cheerios everywhere! Even though she was very close to her due date, she made it with ease and got her portraits done. Here are some sneak peaks for everyone. I can't wait to meet the new little addition to the family soon. If she is half as much fun as Miss L, it will be a blast. Enjoy!

Maternity Sneaky - Woodlands TX Maternity Photographer

Last weekend I did a fantastic photoshoot. I have to tell you this story. I had a call from a husband, take note all you husbands out there. He was so excited about his upcoming baby and was sure that his wife would love to have some maternity portraits taken. Come on! How romantic is that??

He set up the whole thing. What a great hubby! This couple was so cute! We had such a great time, because you could tell how much they are in love. They were so at ease with each other and excited about their upcoming little girl. In turn we shot for almost 2 hours. Good luck picking out of our proofs you guys. Here are a few sneaks.
